There are ancient shrines that were built around Monxa trees centuries before the people of Haenem arrived in the valley. These shrines were abandoned during the Native War, and have fallen into disrepair.
History
Shrines to the Monxa tree were first built during the heyday of the Natives' civilization. There were made of carved monoliths that depicted creative and sexual acts that generate the energy Monxa trees feed on.
During the Native War, the shrines were neglected and eventually abandoned when the surviving natives were integrated into the Nine Tribes. Though the natives offered their knowledge of Aetherwork, the Nine Tribes were not interested in Syna or the shrines. And since the Monxa trees were able to protect themselves from being cut down, thus making the area around them unlivable, the people of Haenem avoided their locations altogether.
The purpose of the shrines and the Monxa trees were then completely erased from history through Inir's intervention.
Redevelopment
In order to rebuild a shrine, one needs both gold and energy. The Monxa tree must be resurrected
